Belding Banner News, Thursday Aug. 2, 1945
From Palo News in Belding Banner:

A.G. Comstock was instantly killed in a railroad crossing accident at 
Charlotte Sunday evening when his automobile he was driving, was struck by a 
train.  Mr. Comstock was about 80 years old and lived with his son Robert 
Comstock and family.  He had been visiting relatives in Chrlotte during the 
day.
