Ionia Daily Standard, 26 & 28 Mar 1919

The remains of Jared Comstock, who died at the home of his son, Geo. Comstock,
on Tuesday, will be taken from the home Thursday, at 12:30, to the Methodist
church at Palo, where the funeral will be held at 2 o’clock, fast time.  The
interment will be at the Palo cemetery, and the officiating minister will be
Rev. Crawford of Palo.

The funeral for Jared Comstock took place at the Methodist church at Palo on
Thursday afternoon, Rev. Crawford having charge of the services, and the church
choir furnishing the music.  The bearers were the four sons, George, Guy, Will
and John Comstock.  The interment was in the Palo cemetery

[Transcriber Note:   There is a notation on the obituary card that he was born
in Ohio, the son of Israel & (?)(Lewis) Comstock.
