Susan Comstock, aged 84 years, died at the home of her son, Allie, west of 
Palo, Monday evening at 9:30 following an illness which began Sunday morning, 
when she was taken to her bed.

Mrs. Comstock was born in Ionia county and has lived within a short distance of 
the border of the county all of her life, and knew the real hardships of early 
pioneering. She was a devoted member of the Methodist Episcopal church.

She is survived by two sons Addison of Sheridan and Allie of Palo.

The funeral services will be held from the home at 1 o'clock Thursday and from 
the Palo church at 1:30.  Burial will be in Palo.
