Ionia Daily Sentinel, 13 Jan 1917

Word was received here this morning of the sudden death of B.L. Comstock at
Covington, Ky., where he has been with his daughter, S.A., for some time.  Mr.
Comstock had not been well for several months but his death was unexpected as he
had been improving recently.  The remains will be brought here and burial will
probably be Monday.  Mr. Comstock has been a resident of Ionia for more than a
half-century and has been one of the city’s best-known citizens.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
