Ionia Weekly Standard - Friday, Jan. 10 & Friday, Jan. 24, 1913

Mrs. Sarah A. Comstock, wife of B.L. Comstock, died Friday a.m. at eight 
o'clock at their home, 321 E. Washington St. She was aged fifty-five years. 
Besides her husband she leaves four children, William of this city, and 
three daughters, Dolly and Marian of New York City and Mrs. S.A. Whittle of 
Covington, Kentucky. 

The Requiem Mass for Mrs. B.L. Comstock was said at SS. Peter and Paul's 
church at nine o'clock Tuesday a.m. The bearers were J.J. Spitzley, Wm. 
Longe, Anthony Scully, E.F. Gallagher, Delbert Vincent and H.H. McGowan.


                     IONIA WEEKLY STANDARD - FRIDAY, JAN. 24, 1913
Sarah A. Comstock, who died on Jan. 3rd, held a certificate in the Court of 
Honor for $2,000. The completed claim proofs were received by the society on 
January 16th. A warrant for $2,000 was forwarded by the society to Recorder 
Kate A. Tuttle on January 21st. in full payment of the claim.
