Born and raised in Ionia, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Comstock, pioneers of Ronald township. He was employed by the Grand Trunk Railway company while he lived in Ionia and about 35 years ago he moved to Saugatuck. He was employed by the Sunshine Biscuit company and lived at Grand Rapids and Saugatuck since moving from Ionia. Surviving are five brothers and two sisters, Egbert of Belding, Fred of Chicago, Albert of Reed City, William of Detroit, Ben of Ionia, Mrs. Guy Hoppough of Portland and Mrs. Ernest Morgan of Hastings. Among those who attended the service Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Ben Comstock of Ionia.
