The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Thursday, November 22, 1934

Mrs. Chrysta Condon, 77, of Smyrna, widow of Edgar Condon, who died 12 years 
ago, died Wednesday afternoon following a years’ illness.  Mrs. Condon had not 
been well for the past year and she resided with her daughter, Mrs. Audie 
Joslyn of Smyrna.

She was born in Keene township March 29, 1857, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Thomas Westbrook, and she had always lived within 2 miles of the place where 
she was born.  She married to E. Ward Condon, in 1876, and they had nearly 
always lived in Otisco township.  Mrs. Condon was one of a family of 21 
children and her brother, P. H. Westbrook, Ionia township, is the only one 
left of the family.  She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Audie Joslyn, one 
brother, P. H. Westbrook, and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held from the home in Smyrna, Saturday afternoon at 2 
o’clock.  Burial will be at Smyrna cemetery.
