Smyrna Woman Died Suddenly.

Mrs. Elgin W. Condon, aged 57 years, died at her home at Smyrna, Wednesday
morning, March 31st.  Death was caused by pneumonia and followed a few days
illness.  Mrs. Condon had been feeling poorly for several days but on Sunday had
attended to some of her housework.  Monday morning pneumonia set in and while
she was quite ill, her death on Wednesday came very unexpectedly and sudden. 
Mrs. Condon was born in Keene township, July 25, 1870 and was the daughter of
Charles and Martha Sayles.  November 24, 1894 she was united in marriage to
Elgin W. Condon and for the past 19 years had been a resident of Smyrna. 
Funeral services were held from the late home Friday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock,
Rev. H.S. Ellis officiating and burial was in Smyrna cemetery.  Relatives from
many places in the state were in attendance at the funeral.
