CONKEY, AMANDA (PHILLIP)(MRS. ELI):
   IONIA DAILY SENTINEL STANDARD, MI, 11-10-1919, p 3, col. 3:  "LOCAL MENTION;
Word was received in Ionia at noon of the death of Mrs. Conkey, mother of George
who lives near Woodard lake.  Notice of the funeral will be made later."
   11-11-1919, p 3, col 3:  "LOCAL MENTION; Mrs. Amanda Conkey died at the home
of her son, George, near Woodard Lake on Monday morning at age 71.  The funeral
will be from the home at 2 o'clock Thursday, Rev. E. E. Branch officiating and
the interment in Woodard Lake cemetery.  Besides her son George, Mrs. Conkey
leaves another son, Alfred, of New Hampshire."

   11-11-1919, p 4:  "Funeral for Mrs Amanda Conkey - Mrs Colwell and Mrs Dunn
sang.  Bearers were W. G. Phillips, William White, Charles Wolverton, A. B.
Charles and a large attendance of friends and relatives."

   11-15-1919, front page:  "Thank you ~ George and Albert Conkey, Elizabeth
Buckley, Ella White, W. G. Phillips and Electra Wolverton."
