Ionia Standard, 20 Jul 1888

The sixteen-year-old son of John Conklin died at his home on Cemetery street on
Saturday.  The boy had always been frail and in poor health.

[Transcriber's Note: There is a notation on the obituary card that he was buried
in Oak Hill Cemetery.]
