Funeral services were held at the Sebewa M.E. church this afternoon, in charge of Rev. Aldrich. Burial was made in the Danby cemetery. Mrs. Conkrite’s maiden name was Wainright. She was born in the state of New York and came to Michigan when 12 years of age. Forty-eight years ago she was united in marriage to Charles Conkrite, who survives. For many years Mrs. Conkrite had resided on the Sebewa-Danby townline at Sebewa Corners and had a wide circle of friends who mourn her death with the sorrowing family. She was a member of the Danby Cemetery society, always taking an active interest in the affairs of the organization.
