Edith Conley, 87, of Lake Odessa, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011 at her 
residence.



She was born April 6, 1924 in Magoffin County, Ky., the daughter of Ben and 
Liney (Wireman) Hale.



She was married to Bennie Conley on Dec. 7, 1942 and moved to Lake Odessa in 
1947. Mr. Conley preceded her in death on Nov. 27, 2004.



Edith worked for Lake Odessa Machine Products before her retirement in 1988.



She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bennie; son, JB Conley; son-
in-law, Brock Paxton; and several brothers and sisters.



Surviving are her children, Ellis (Dixie) Conley of Ionia, Earl (Erika) conley 
of Portland, Hazel Paxton of Woodland, Roger Conley of Lake Odessa and Wayne 
Conley of Lake Odessa; 14 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, 
Dorsie Wiremen of Ohio.



Funeral services for Edith will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 21, 2011, with 
visitation from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. 
Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
