Services Held For Linda S. Conley
Mrs. Linda S. Conley, 64, of Rt. no. Two, Lake Odessa passed away Thursday morning
at Butterfield Hospital, Grand Rapids, after an extended illness and had been
hospitalized six weeks.

She was born June 6, 1911 in Kentucky, the daughter of John and Mary (Oliver) Smith
and married Joseph Conley June 25,1925. They moved to Michigan in 1948 and had lived in
the Lake Odessa area for the last 27 years.

Surviving are her husband Joseph, five daughters Mrs. Robert (Omie) Jones of
Lansing, Mrs. John (Susie) Smith of Allegan, Mrs. Jim (Ida) Haag of Arkansas, Mrs. Robert
(Betsy) Bromley of Greenville and Ada Conley at home, three sons Roy of Pewamo, Mitchell of

Portland and Tom of Lake Odessa; 22 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two
sisters and eight brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 at the Pickens-Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake

Odessa. Rev. James Leasure officiated with burial in the Sunset Memorial Gardens at
Ionia.
