Mrs. Della I. Connell, 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jay 
Everts, of Lansing Saturday morning at 11:30 o'clock.

She was born December 4, 1868, in Ionia where she spent her entire life 
except for the past two years when she had lived with her daughter in 
Lansing. Her husband, Charles, died in 1904.

Active in fraternal and church affairs, Mrs. Connell was a member of St. 
John's Episcopal church and of the women's auxiliary of the church as well 
as a life member in both the Queen Esther chapter, OES, and the White 
Shrine.

Mrs. Connell leaves the daughter, Mrs. Everts of Lansing, a son, Fred, of 
Detroit; a grandchild; and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at Stone's 
funeral home with the Rev. Fr. John Carlton officiating. Interment will be 
in the family lot of Highland Park cemetery.
