Cory L. Conner, 20, of Belding, died Saturday evening, June 21, 1997, of 
accidental injuries.
He was born on Sept. 10, 1976 at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids, the son 
of Mark and Roxanne (Buckley) Conner.

He was a graduate of Belding High School in 1995 and was attending Montcalm 
Community College.  He was employed as an apprentice tool and die maker at 
Greenville Tool and Die.  Cory loved snowmobiling and his pride and joy was his 
restored 1971 Novi.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Roxanne Conner of Belding; one sister, 
Amanda; grandparents, Roscoe and Delores Conner of Cedar Springs and Mrs. 
Junior (Neta) Buckley of Rockford; aunts, uncles and cousins.  He was preceded 
in death by his grandfather, Junior Buckley on Oct. 15, 1993.

Funeral services for Cory will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Pederson 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Gary L. Davis officiating.  Interment will be in 
Bostwick Lake Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet Cory’s family from 7 
p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday at the funeral home.  Those planning an 
expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Michigan Snowmobilers 
Association, designate for snowmobile trails in memory of Cory.  Arrangements 
by Pederson Funeral Home in Rockford.
