Carrie J. Conner was born in Easton township, May 19, 1874, and died at the home
of her sister, Mrs. P. H. Stebbins, in Easton, January 1, 1908, aged 33 years, 7
months and 13 days.

Possessed naturally of a sweet and lovable disposition which endured through
many years of suffering her life was an example of loving kindness and unselfish
devotion to others.  For more than twenty years she has been a great but patient
and uncomplaining sufferer and truly she is deserving of all the happiness we
hope to find in the life beyond.

At about the age of twenty she gave her heart to her Savior and though for many
years she has been denied the privilege of attending public worship, she has led
a quiet, unassuming Christian life.  She leaves to mourn her loss a father,
three sisters and two brothers, the mother having passed on before a little less
than two months ago.
