The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, June 1, 1937

Mrs. LaVern Conner, 44, died at her home in Ionia township Monday noon after a 
severe illness of four weeks.  Mrs. May Neva Conner was born December 3, 1893 
in Bloomer township, Montcalm county, the daughter of Edward and Bertha 
Burtraw.  She was united in marriage to LaVern Conner of Easton June 19, 1919.

She is survived by her husband and a daughter Wilma, 13; her mother, Mrs. 
Bertha Burtraw; one sister, Mrs. Ella Rich of Butternut, and two brothers, 
Melvin of Ronald and Lee of Oregon.

Funeral services will be held at the home Thursday at 2 o’clock.
