Funeral services were held today for Russell S. Conner, 76, of 169 Clinton 
Ave., Crystal, who died Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1987, at Carson City Hospital.  He 
was born Oct. 18, 1910 at Muir, the son of Harry and Olive West Conner.  A 15 
year resident of Crystal, he formerly lived in the Muir-Palo area.  Mr. Conner 
retired in 1972 from General Tire Corp, of Ionia and was also retired farmer.  
He was a member of Muir Presbyterian Church and a 1927 graduate of Muir High 
School.  In April, 1934, he married the former Lucretia Arnold.  She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mr. Kaye Coston, Weidman, Mrs. Sueann Wymer, 
Ithaca; a son, Ron Conner, Riverdale; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Bronson, 
Rockford, Mrs. Gladys Sweeney, Venice, Fla; two brothers, Maurice Conner, 
Channing, Raymond Conner, Englewood, Fla; 10 grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.

Services were conducted at Hull memorial Chapel, Muir, by the Rev. Jim Cook of 
Vickeryville United Methodist Church officiating, with interment will be in 
Muir Cemetery.
