SARANAC- Mrs. Alice Conner, 85, died Sunday, May 20, at Michigan Veteran's 
facility in Grand Rapids after being a patient there for nearly three years. 
She had been a patient at the O'Berry Convalescent home on North Jackson 
street, for two years.

She was born July 28, 1865, in Easton and spent her life in that vicinity. She 
was a member of the Saranac O.E.S., the Women's Relief Corps and the former 
Easton Methodist Church.

Surviving are three sons, Clarence of Coos Bay, Ore. Dewey of Grand Rapids and 
Herbert of Saranac; two daughters, Mrs. Alma Har___ of Saranac and Mrs. 
Marjorie Rumohr of Belding: 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren: and _ 
brother, William Bishop of Portland, Ore.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Morris funeral 
home. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
