Ionia Sentinel Standard, 11 May 1965

Leona S. Conner of 149 Lafayette street died at 7:30 Tuesday morning at the age
of 91.  The past two and a half years she had been a patient at Ionia Manor.  A
resident of Ionia 70 years, she was born in Pleasantville, Ill., July 19, 1873,
one of four and the last surviving daughter of Dr. James G. and Priscilla
Claspill Conner.  Miss Conner was a member of First Presbyterian church.

Her only survivors are cousins.

Funeral service will be at Boynton funeral home Thursday at 1:30 p.m., with the
Rev. Wilfrid G. Sawyier officiating and interment at Balcom cemetery.
