RICHARD J. CONNER
    Richard Jerry Conner, age 81, passed away on Monday, April 24, 2017.
   He was born and raised the son of Ward and Doris (Bishop) Conner.  Richard was a
dedicated employee at Gen Corp for over 40 years.
   He was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church and also an Elder there.
   He enjoyed hunting and fishing and liked being outdoors.  Most of all, Richard
loved spending time with his family.
  He is preceded in death by his cherished wife, Patricia Ann; daughter, Susan
(Conner) Kleman; grandson, Lucas VanSprange; sister, Patricia; and brother, Roger. 
Richard is survived by his children, Paul Conner, Richard (Melissa) Conner Jr., 
Kim Crissman, and Jeffery Conner; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 
sisters, Glennis Lokhart and Deborah Detater; and brother, Michael (Melody) Conner.
   The Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at St. John
Lutheran Church, 617 N. Jefferson St., Ionia, with Pastor Joe Fremer conducting.
