Ionia Sentinel - Standard
Dexter S. Conner, 94, known as Deck, of 715 West Washington died early Thursday 
morning at Ionia Manor.  Born May 18, 1878 in Easton township he was the son of 
Mr. and Mrs. Virgil B. Conner.  He was an employee of Ypsilanti Reed Furniture 
company 30 years retiring September 2, 1946.  His wife, the former Anna M. 
Stowell, died September 2, 1968.  Also preceding him in death were a son, Virgil 
B. and a sister, Mrs. Fern Gallagher.

Surviving are a son, Samuel S. Conner, of Sheridan; daughter, Mrs. Rhoda Starr 
of LaGrange, Ill.;  ten grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and three great 
great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 pm at Myers-Roetman funeral home.  
Interment will be at Easton cemetery.
