CHARLES A. CONNER

Charles A. Conner, 69, died at his home in Easton township Monday afternoon,
August 26, at 3:30 o'clock following an illness of the past three years from
cancer. Mr. Conner was one of nine boys born to Mr. and Mrs. William Conner,
pioneers of Easton township. He had always made his home in Easton. Surviving
besides the widow are five daughters, Mrs. Leona Humphrey, of Ionia; Mrs. Anna
Williams, of Northville; Mrs. Josephine Bensted,of Lansing; Mrs. Vada Hawley, at
home, and Mrs. Ione Edwards, Saranac; several grandchildren; five brothers,
George and Gordon, of Saranac; Ferry, Cassius and Edward Conner, of Ionia.
Funeral services will be conducted from the farm home Thursday afternoon at 2
o'clock, with burial at the family lot at Easton cemetery.

CHARLES A. CONNER

Charles A. Conner, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Conner, pioneers in Easton, Ionia
county, was born December 6, 1866, and died at 3:30 Monday afternoon, August 26,
after three years illness of cancer.

Mr. Conner spent his life in Easton township. He leaves his widow and five
daughters, Mrs. Leona Humphrey of Ionia; Mrs. Anna Williams of Northville,
Mich.; Mrs. Josephine Bensted, of Lansing; Vada Hawley at home and Mrs. Ione
Edwards of Saranac. Also several grandchildren, five brothers, George and Gordon
of Saranac, Ferry, Edward and Cassius of Ionia. The funeral will be held
Thursday afternoon at two o'clock at the home. Burial will be in the family lot
at the Easton cemetery.
