RENATE CONRAD, 87
Renate Elizabeth Conrad, 87, of Ionia, passed away Jan. 8, 2018.

She was born on Feb. 4, 1930, in Heidelberg, Germany, the daughter of Otto and Marie
(Konig) Keller. She married George Conrad on Oct. 10, 1953, in Germany. He passed
away Dec. 31, 2002.

Renate worked as a music teacher in schools, churches and taught private lessons.
She was a member of Easton united Methodist Church and Ionia Music Teachers
Association.

She was director of Youth Musicians and taught German at adult education. She was
also the past organist at several local churches.
