The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Saturday, December 4, 1937
Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret E. Conroe, 72, were held from the Stone 
funeral home Friday afternoon, December 3, at 2 o’clock with the Rev. A. C. 
DeVries conducting the services.  Mrs. Conroe died Wednesday morning December 
1 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William H. Banks, Yeomans street, 
following several months of illness.  Pallbearers were Orin Mason, Leon Smith, 
Glenn Stannard and Robert Guernsey of Ionia.  Those attending from away were 
Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Green and F. B. Banks of Grand Rapids and Mr. and Mrs. J. 
W. Crismore of Grand Ledge.  Interment was at Oak Hill cemetery.
