Ionia Daily Standard, 30 Jan 1919

Alice, the nine-years-old daughter of Mrs. Mary Conroy, died on Thursday morning
at Detroit.  The funeral will be held there on Friday afternoon, and the remains
will be brought here Saturday noon for interment in Highland Park cemetery.  The
little girl has been frail for years, and recently has been much worse, though
the end was not expected so soon.  Dr. Clarence Winchell, brother of Mrs.
Conroy, went to Detroit this morning, before learning of the death of his little
niece, who he hoped could be brought to the former home at Ionia for care.

[Transcriber Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was born
13 Feb 1910, the daughter of Edward and Mary E. (Winchill) Conroy.)
