Daily Sentinel - Wednesday, Nov. 22, 1916

E. J. Conroy died this morning between 7:00 and 8:00 o'clock, having been in a 
low state for about a week following a gun-shot wound received on Tuesday night 
of last week. A jury for the inquest was immediately drawn, consisting of 
Charles Lauster, H. A. Rich, Dale Jepson, James I. Williston, Fred Allen and 
Fred Caine. Dr. H. B. Knapp and Dr. R. R. Whitten conducted a post-mortem 
examination this morning. The inquest is to be held at 10:00 o'clock next 
Tuesday morning at the City hall.
