Ionia Daily Standard, 3 Aug 1899

Mrs. G. Cook, of Ionia township, near the stone quarry, who was in Chicago for 
medical treatment, fell down stairs there last Monday and broke her neck.  The 
funeral was held at Lyons on Wednesday.  Deceased was a lady highly esteemed; she 
was 51 years of age.
