The remains were brought to Ionia Monday for burial. Mrs. Cook was in the city only a week ago, and was in good health and on the street, so that the word of her death was entirely unlooked for. The body was taken to Bradley’s until today when the funeral was attended from the Church of Christ at 2 o’clock this afternoon, interment in Oak Hill cemetery, where Mr. Cook is buried. The pallbearers were members of William H. Borden post, Mrs. Cook having been a member of the local W.R.C. She was 64 years of age, a woman well known here by her long residence in Ionia, and whose death is regretted by many friends. She is survived by one son, Silas Cook. Rev. E. E. Branch officiated this afternoon at the funeral for Mrs. Charles Cook and the pall bearers were Edward Dysinger, Charles Lovrien, George Corey, John Scott, Joseph Schoenber and Norman L. Brookins.
