Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 4 May 1959

Opal Hazel (Legge) Cook, 66, died at the home of her son, Kenneth Jennings, 640
West Washington street, Saturday afternoon.  Mrs. Cook was born in Martinsville,
Ind.com October 27, 1892, and was married to John Nelson Cook who died in 1953.
 She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Grand Rapids.

Surviving are two sons, Kenneth Jennings of Ionia, and Robert W. Jennings of
Grand Rapids, and five grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Myers funeral home with the
Rev. William E. Woldt officiating.  Interment will be in Highland Park cemetery.
