Cook, 91, of Alma, formerly of Edmore, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2006 at Masonic Pathways, Alma. He was born August 29, 1914 in Ionia County, the son of George and Martha Crawford Cook. He married Dorothy Homman in 1941. Clinton owned and operated Lamp Light Inn in Carson City until 1977. He loved sports and the outdoors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy, in 2003; parents; brother, Floyd; and sister, Gladys. He is survived by nephew and nieces, Al and Virginia Bailey of Birch Run, Maxine Yerke of Louisville, Ky., Joanne, Louella, both of Elkhart, Ind., Donna Marshall of Gowen, Martha Miller of Flint, George and Marianne Coleman of Clio, Burl and Gayle Coleman of Flint, Ray and Jan Cook of Lyons, Jerry and Sandy Cook of Belding, Roger and Liz Cook of Fowler, Kenneth Cook of Saranac; and many cousins. Funeral services were Wednesday at Stebbins-McCullough Chapel, Edmore, with Pastor Connie Bongard officiating. Interment is in Vinewood Cemetery, Edmore. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Clinton to Masonic pathways in Alma. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
