Ionia Standard, 21 Feb 1908

Mrs. Maynard Cook died Mon. morning, at home of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Holcomb,
two miles north of city on Steele road.  Her age was 88, and she leaves three
daughters:  Mrs. Holcombe, Mrs. James Sherman of this city, and Mrs. James
O’Bryen of Bellingham, Wash.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that she was
buried in Highland Park Cemetery.]
