MERLIN E. COOK
Merlin E. Cook, 60, of Huntington Beach, Calif.,died April 11, at his home.

He was born Nov. 28, 1918 in Sebewa Township to Clifton and Gladys (Shetterly) 
Cook. He graduated from Lake Odessa High School in 1937.
Mr.Cook worked as a farmer and on the railroad until entering the Air force in 
August 1941.

He was married to Marcia Thrasher May 9, 1943 and worked in the lumber business 
until his health forced him into retirement.

Mr and Mrs Cook spent several summers in Lake Odessa.

Survivors are his wife, Marcia; one son, Merlin Jr.; his mother; two brothers 
Gayord Cook of Muskegon and George Cook of Greenville, Texas; two sisters, Ilene 
Holland of Lake Odessa and Rose Draghi of Spring Hill, Fla.; two grandchildren 
and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services ere h eld in Westminister, Calif., with interment in Rose 
Gardens.
