              JOAN R. COOK

Died February 14, 2023-age 92 at Pewamo,MI
Born June 14, 1930 at Westphalia daughter of Mathias & Mary(Belen) Kloeckner.
Devoted member of St.Joseph Catholic church, Pewamo.
Enjoyed time with family, attending daily mass, praying the rosary, mowing her 
lawn, baking, playing cards & her weekly prayer meetings with friends.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband,Norman Cook; daughter, Donna Cook; 
son-in-law, Bill Clark; great-granddaughter,Ella Cook; 13 siblings & several in-
laws.
Survived by her children, Diane(Brad) Harkness,Ithaca, Norma (Donald)Schrauben, 
Westphalia, Sue Clark, Pewamo, Perry (Diane) Cook, Pewamo, Brian Cook, Pewamo, 
Julie (Neil) Thelen, Westphalia, & Scott Cook (Shawn Rottiers of St.Johns; 18 
grandchildren & 47 great-grandchildren,2 great-great-grandchildren, sister-in-
law Kate (William) Bushong; many nieces & nephews.
Special thanks to Portland Assisted Living & Memory Care for their loving care.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Darrel Kempf at 10:30 a. 
Tuesday, February 21, 2023. 
Rite of Committal to follow at St.Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation Monday February 20 from 3-8p.m. with rosary being prayed at 2;30 at 
St.Mary's Funeral Chapel. Westphalia.
