The Ionia Daily Sentinel, Monday, January 18, 1960
Committal service was held at the Pickens funeral chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. for 
Robert D. Cook, 37, 734 Washington Boulevard, who was killed Thursday 
afternoon in a bulldozer accident.  Honorary groups attending were members of 
the LaVerne Demaray Post 112 of the American Legion, and the Lake Odessa Lions 
Club.  Rev. A. J. Pitman officiated and burial was at Lakeside cemetery.
