Portland Review, 17 Feb 2008

Bruce Alexander Cook, 51, of Portland, passed away on Feb. 9, 2008.  He was born
Nov. 22, 1956 in Lansing the son of Gerald and Georgia (Rowe) Cook.  Bruce was a
member of St. Patrick Catholic Church.  He enjoyed fishing and motorcycles.  He
owned and operated Cook Cycle in Portland for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Holly; father-in-law, Stanley
Gross, brother-in-law, Ryan Sandborn.  Surviving are his wife of 32 years,
Sheila; children Heather, Daniel, Brandon, and Victoria; siblings Rebecca Cook,
Gary Cook, Mike Cook, Maria (Steve) Rademacher and Bonnie Cook; mother-in-law,
Jane Gross; sister-in-law, Donalyn Sandborn; brother-in-law Doug (Raelynn)
Gross; several nieces and nephews.

The Mass of Christian Burial was on Feb. 12 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with
Rev. Larry King, presiding.  Rite of Committal followed at Portland Cemetery. 
Arrangements were entrusted to the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, Portland.
