Sentinel-Standard - Thursday Nov. 18, 1937

Fred Cook, 57, for many years a resident of Ionia before he moved away, died in 
the University of Michigan hospital Wednesday night following several weeks 
serious illness.

Death was caused by cancer. Cook is a brother of Henry Cook of Ionia. He is 
survived by his wife Sadie of Ionia, and a daughter, Mrs. Marina Northhouse of 
Washington D.C. Mrs. Northhouse is secretary to James Farley, United States 
Postmaster general.
