Cook were held at the Baptist church Tuesday afternoon, Rev. John Klose officiating. Burial in the Riverridge cemetery. The members of the Forester Lodge were in attendance, the deceased having been a member of that fraternity and in which he held an insurance policy for $1,000, on which he had drawn one half on account of disability. Mr. Cook would have been 56 years of age in Oct. and was born in the state of New York. He leaves one daughter Miss Elsie, and two sisters, one residing in Grand Rapids and the other in Wisconsin, both of whom were here to the funeral. Mr. Cook has been a resident of this city for upward of ten years, and was a quiet, inoffensive sort of a citizen. For a long time he has been a sufferer from epileptic fits and has been practically incapacitated for work for some time.
