Ionia Standard, 21 Jul 1916

Thomas Cooley, aged eighty-two years, pioneer resident of Odessa, having lived in 
Odessa township fifty years, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John 
Griffin in the village of Lake Odessa.  He leaves two sons and one daughter.  
Funeral services at his daughter’s home Thursday afternoon at 1:30.  Interment in 
Lakeside cemetery.
