The funeral took place at the Otisco church yesterday, Rev. J.N. Taft, of Greenville, preaching the sermon. Mrs. Cooley’s maiden name was Kimberly. She was born in Ashfield, Mass., in 1819. After the death of her mother she came to Washtenaw county, Mich., with her father in 1838. In February, 1842, just fifty years ago, she was married to Geo. Cooley, and in 1844 came to Otisco, settling near the west town line, where she has ever since resided. She was the mother of three children, all of whom are still living. She was converted in early womanhood, and with her husband, who died in 1883, was a life-long and consistent member of the Congregational church. A large circle of relatives and friends mourn her departure.
