It seems that Mr. Cooley suffered a stroke about a week ago from which he never rallied. He had been in poor health for some years and had only been at the Eldreds for a little over two months, having formerly lived in Grand Rapids. Owen Cooley was the son of the late Jay Cooley, having been born in Otisco. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Grace Cooley of Chicago; a son, Robert Cooley, who was with his father at the time of his death; a step-mother, Mrs. Louise Cooley, of Lincoln, Nebraska; also two half-sisters, Mrs. Lawrence Coodale and Miss Elsie Cooley, both of Lincoln. The body was brought to the Fales funeral home but the arrangements for the funeral have not been completed. Friends may call Mr. Fales for the day and hour of the last rites.
