Lake Odessa Wave-Times January 20, 1944

MRS. ORA COOLEY, 78, DIED THIS MORNING

Mrs. Ora Cooley, 78, passed away at the home of her daughter Mrs.Ralph Shaw and 
husband who live on the Ora Cooley farm west of Odessa Grange Hall. The Cooley 
families came to this county in an early day and helped to clear the land. Mr. 
Cooley died three years ago.

The funeral will be held at the Wortley and Baine Chapel Saturday afternoon at 
2.

She is survived by another daughter Mrs Cloid Kart, two sons Ray and Verne, nine 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
