Was Nearly 93 Years of Age. Funeral Monday at Son's Home. The funeral of Elizabeth Cooley was held at the home of her son Ora Cooley on Sixth Avenue Monday afternoon. Rev. J.A. Beardsley preached and the music was by Mr and Mrs D.A. Mourer and Mrs Homer Bartlett. Burial was at Lakeside cemetery. For the past few weeks Mrs. Cooley lingered after hope of her recovery from pneumonia was despaired of. Her advanced age taking haired of. Her advanced age took May 6. She would have been 93 had she lived until May 18. Mrs. Cooley and her husband came to Michigan from Bloomville, Ohio, settled on a farm near Lake Odessa 59 years ago. The husband died in 1895 and she has made her home with her son Ora since that time. She leaves besides her son, a brother David Shock of Bloomville, and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
