LEAVES WIFE, FOUR CHILDREN, AND 10 GRANDCHILDREN ------------ Apoplexy claimed the life of Orris Cooley, well known resident of Lake Odessa and vicinity, early Wednesday evening. Mr. Cooley reached his 79th birthday on March 8, and he with Mrs. Cooley celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary on March 23. Mr. Cooley was born n Ohio and moved with his parents to Michigan when he was 12 years old, settling on land his father obtained from the goverment. In 1915 he with his family moved to the present home here in the village. Though of a quiet and retiring nature, he always had a friendly smile and word of greeting for all who knew him. He is survived by the widow, two sons Vern and Ray, two daughters Mrs. Esther Kart and Mrs. Naomi Shaw, all of Lake Odessa, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held from the home at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon, and internment will be made in Lakseside cemetery.
