Funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Burial will be made in the Letts cemetery. Mr. Coon was a pioneer of Orange township and the son of pioneers, the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Coon. He had lived in the house where he died for 53 years, having celebrated his golden wedding anniversary in 1927. He was born across the road from the present home and had always lived in that locality. He leaves his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Creer, of Orange; four brothers, Charles and Harrison, of Barryton; George, of Ionia; Chauncey of Orange; and a sister, Mrs. Sophia McAvoy, of Ionia.
