The Ionia Daily Standard, Wednesday, June 19, 1895

Orange, June 18.—Jacob Coon died at his home here, on Monday.  Deceased was 
one of the old settlers here, having lived in Michigan fifty-four years, and 
on the farm where he died forty-five years.  He had a paralytic stroke about a 
week ago.  He leaves a large family, all grown to maturity.  His aged wife 
survives him.  He was eighty-one years old. 

Chas. Coon, of Isabella county, was called here by the death of his father.
