Lake Odessa Wave - Times - October 31, 1940
          MRS. ELLA COON DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

                                      -------------

   Mrs. Ella Coon, 81 year old Lake Odessa resident who was a native of Orange
township, died Monday night 
at 10:07 o'clock following an illness of several weeks.

   Mrs. Coon had lived near Lake Odessa for the past 33 years where she moved from
Orange township.

   Mrs. Coon has no living close relatives.  She had been nursed by Mr. and Mrs.
Glenn Standard and son 
Harold.  Mr. and Mrs. Stannard are cousins.  She formerly lived with her brother
George Wright.

   Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Coon home
east of Tupper lake.  
Interment will be at Lakeside cemetery.
