Ionia County News, 30 Jan 1958

Prayer service was held at Hoffman’s Funeral Home in Belding at 10:00 a.m. on
Monday, January 20, for Craig Lee Coon, infant, and burial was in the Belding
Cemetery.

Craig Lee Coon, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Coon, Belding, born on January 9, 1958,
died just nine days after his birth, on January 18.  He was found in his crib,
where he had smothered to death, by his mother.

Besides his parents, Craig is survived by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold
Coon.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Old Belding Cemetery.]
