The Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard, Wednesday, June 15, 1960

Mrs. Evah Jane Cooper, 75, a former resident of Lake Odessa, died at 10:55 
a.m. Tuesday at the Ionia Rest home where she had been a patient six months.  
She was born October 24, 1884 in Montcalm county, the daughter of Moses and 
Elizabeth Waldron Snyder.  Mrs. Cooper had lived in the Lake Odessa area a 
number of years.  Her husband, Horace, died three years ago.

She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Andrew (Enid) Walter of Lake Odessa; 
five sons, Roy and Oliver of St. Louis, Earl of Grand Ledge, Ernest of 
Shepherd and Rolland of St. Charles; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, 
two sisters, Mrs. Anna Draper of Flint and Mrs. Myrtle Lepley of Muskegon; and 
one brother, Daniel Snyder of Flint.

Service will be conducted at the Pickens funeral chapel at 11 a.m. Thursday 
with graveside service at Salt River cemetery in Shepherd at 2 p.m.
