Ionia County News, 12 Jan 1956

William Cooper, 71, died Thursday morning, January 5, at his home on Route 1, 
Fenwick.  His wife died several years ago.  He had always been a farmer.  
Surviving are two brothers, Frank Cooper of Lyons and Horace Cooper of Lake 
Odessa.

Funeral service was held from Myers Funeral Home Saturday afternoon.  Rev. Lewis 
Herrick officiated and burial was in Balcom cemetery.  Bearers were Ben DeHart, 
Harry Edwards, Bert Bailey, James Fisher, Leon Fancett and Leslie Sherd.
